rb20/25 turbo differences.

i got a replacement turbo last week from an rb20 engine but the metal intake pipe on the turbo was bigger than the one on my existing turbo. Could it possibly be an rb25 turo or jus a different variation rb20 turbo?

Sounds like a rb25 turbo ,the pipe "with the 3screws"is slightly bigger on them.
If it has 45v1,v2,v3 or v4 on the intake housing it's a rb25 turbo.

rb20 turbo's have 16v on theirs + they have a take off for the actuator.

as said, the r33 has slightly different flange, and no take off for actuator!

yeah the flange with the 3 screws, i tried to re-fit the one that came off my turbo but twas too small, yippee for rb25 turbo
