    hi,

    im thinking of buying a 97 r33 gts25t 40th anniversary model with 83000 miles on it, im jus wondering are these engines good for this mileage and are they reliable, also what would you look for to enusre its a healthy engine, any help much appreciated

    Prob one of the few reliable performance engines there is next to the jz, 83000 is fool all mileage as said once it's been looked after that is.

    No the 400r is a different thing completely, 40th anniversary is a gtst with a plaque on the rear pillar,

    its not alot of milage but like all rb and sr engines that are here for awhile running our crap petrol do a compression test before you buy it

    yeah the engine is standard has a cat back and a dump valve and a induction kit thats it, bein sitting up for awhile so will need a service seems to be running well and sounds good, tere n ot like subarus or netin for blowing up are they?

    Ha complete opposite than that muck, good reliable engine and easy to up the power

    compression test it is all i would say,

    ive had problems with cylinder 6 in two rb's that have been in one car
