Im wiring a switch for my fan to my 106 rallyx car....I have cut off switch inside car....is the following correct.....
Take power from the cut off switch/ignition run this feed to switch on dash for fan, then run feed to fan with a 30 amp fuse on the line......and earth it - wher do I take the earth from as well???

just put the earth wire of the fan on the negative post of the battery, id say
