Default Purple Old Skool 1992 PS13 Silvia K's SR20DET drift ready!

    Hi everyone

Welcome to the sale of my 92 PS13 Silvia. Some of you may have already seen it on Driftworks or out and about, but thanks to Darragh I'm posting it on Driftireland because I know the PS13s have a loyal following over here.

I imported "Barney" myself in 2008, but now reluctantly have to sell. It's been a great car, advertising my business and being my personal transport for almost 2 years.

It's in great condition throughout and has no accident history. The original engine was replaced in Japan with the vvti blacktop SR20DET from a much later low mileage vehicle.

It passed MOT on 15th Jan so the new owner can enjoy hassle free motoring straight away. Import duty and vat were paid at date of import in Dublin, but the car has never been registered in the South.

Enough of the waffle, on to the fun stuff!

Quick update for anyone who is interested. As a follow up to a few enquiries on driftworks I took a few photos of the harder to reach areas and planned on doing a compression test today. No results yet, the kit I bought is faulty.

A few pictures in the mean time:

    Front turrets from the top

    From the bottom

    Boot floor

    Battery tray

    Lower radiator panel

A couple under front arches, better will follow when I get the wheels off

Should hopefully be more to update by Tuesday

Managed to borrow a working compression tester today and the results are shown in the photos below. The car was brought to normal operating temperature and the photos are in order from closest cylinder to radiator down to closest to firewall. All cylinders recorded just over 10 bar / 150psi and I tested each cylinder 3 times to ensure there were no abnormalities.

Hope the results are good, I've never done a compression test before but I followed all the advice I was given. They all seem pretty even anyway!

Asking price reduced to £3500 without Eurolines and spacers. The car will be rolling on steels with legal tyres. Can reduce spec further to lower the price if required.
