do you want to remove the diff out of the casing altogether?
if you remove it all the way you know that it will have to be set up when you put it back in.

Yeh the diff is still in the casing. I was sort of following this guys way http://zilvia.net/f/archive-faqs/148...-approved.html
I've got to as far as step 3.. so have the axels/ shafts out. I can't see anyway of getting into the spider gears?

Basically, I wana get in and have a look at the welds. Might need to ad a bit more, don't want it breaking on Sunday out in Mondello on the first run

    Gis a sec i'll take a picture

Sweet, fair play man! I may have to call on your super powers so What do you think, get a flat head in and pop them out? Head was melted after work.. actually went out to garage with a cup tea for a gawk and ended up stripping the diff
