    Default my hicas is tryin to kill me!

    in my r32, today going to work when i broke hard the back started swaying about, and the same under acceleration, its all over the place! im getting a lock out bar but just dont have the money yet, can i remove the fuse or unplug the control box with the wheels straight to knock it off? or is there any other way of doing it?! cheers guys.

    your bloody jokin thats mad i wouldnt think theres anythin electrical connected but could be wrong

    swap for a s13 subframe non hicas best job for the long run.

    That's what you do alright but ya need the lock out bar first,

    Seems strange,cause only moves the wheels a few degrees and works only over a certain speed and steering angle, there is a fuse afaik

    thats the plan as my balljoints have a wee bita play an theyll fail nct!
    ive disconnected the small plug going into hicas ecu, if that doesnt work ill move onto the big plug haha

    make up a couple collars to lock the rack?? had a 32 with a tomei hicas lock out kit , would say easy to diy one up

    I know the 32 is hydrolic so this mightnt work but back when i had hicas in the 33 i welded the motor for it so it couldnt move

    was that the black r32? that was a savage set up?i have a cusco eliminater kit to go into mine got it for 140 second hand id say you could pick one up on ebay handy,

    well with the skylines if you just plug the ecu out, the steering will go heavy and it will go over centre alot..... fabricate up a Hicas lockout bar.. the price of them are fukin rob .. its just a bar with a threaded end on each side.
