    Did you try the ignitor pack? At the back of the rocker cover, it powers the coilpacks. Gives trouble in them also.

    pump is always a good upgrade anyway....seems like most other stuff has been replaced already....get a feeler gauge,gap the plugs to .7m and as newsome said try another ignitor pack as these are a common problem,new pump and do them two things and id be confident in saying it will be running 100 percent.....

    Thats the craic she said with one leg on the dash and nothing on but the radio............

    Probably a silly question you probably checked before you bought the car but have you compression checked it?

    nope havnt done a comp test yet, but knowing my luck it will be down on a cylinder and ill be left bankrupt trying to fix the cunt

    Think positive bet the compression is fine! Had the exact same prob with my S13 and it was the fuel pump, Bet yours is the exact same, fuel pump will sort it
