why would you have to run one?? 95% of drift cars dont, im sure oul robbie in tdp would advise them at the first chance he got if they needed one!

yea but 99% of drift cars are flat out most of the time! with quick gear changing! i.e throttle closed but open'd again very quickly!!

i think im my limited view when driven slowly (i.e traffic and road day to day its not to good for the turbo?) pressure wave caused by the closing of the throttle quickly, can stall the turbo?

tho ill look into it more...

without meaning to clog your thread...its only internet myth about it damaging turbos. and sure flat out drift cars with 1.2bar boost etc being on and off power so much, that will be workign the turbo the most, hence why they come in red hot alot of the time!

some rb's, and also ca's etc never even came with recirculating dumpvalves, and im sure nissan spent alot of time and money researching what kills turbos! compressor surge sounds bad ass too

Hello all been long long time

Its to f'ing cold this weather to be out in the shed working....
Buts its xmass so time to relax a little

    Back with a tiny update:

Some of the presents that have arrived early (thanks Santa )

Big thanks for Kev86 for holding on to this EastBear seat

Which i stickered up good and proper along with redying the cover to bring it back to life

Pic of it fitted in its new home

Also a pic of the retrimed doorcards very happy with how these turned out!

(i dono why it looks like its a different shade there half way up its not really)

Also got this cool fitting which has been very handly way of getting a hose to before the throttle body for the idea controle valve. Just cuts its way into the samco hose and then bolts down n seals itself

Sytec came up top dog on the hunt for a 90' bend for the fuel rail

Last but not least, My new cam covers.
I finally got the time to paint them what ya's recken? not to bad of a finish for a LIdl compressor kit and hammerite home brew
