portloaise is good if u just stay the second car goin out in the runs, that way if u fuck up you dont mess up anyones drift. thats what i did till i got used to the layout then went first car then!!! you should try goldstones to to get practice its easier than portloise but ull get the feel of the car an driftin out there its 50 quid for full day just ring up when ya wana head out an ull get loadsa track time!!!
what sierra have u?doch 2.0?
its only a 1.6 but maybe with welded diff and a soaked track i might get it sideways, its just to get a idea and a feel for it, i have a granada with 2.0 doch engine but its fairly clean so dont really want to touch it
lot a pressure on the 1.6 pinto you wont get much sideways with that rip that engine out the granada and get it fitted.. bit more work tho in converting the loom in the 1.6 to 20l iv a 24v sierra iv been in mondello for 1 track day was all right but but same day was somthing up with the car....
good luck with your drifting experience....
youl find it very hard in a 1600 sierra the place would want to be soakin! the granada lump would suit you down to the ground until you get another car sorted then bang it back into the granada if you wanna keep it!
A pro driver would get it hard to drift a 1600 Sierra kid..
1600 seria wouldn last long on the red line
yeah i can see this not working out for me at all and kinda knew from the begining it wasnt gona work, i could buy a a ae86 or 180 if i wanted to but im not going to until i start working full time after school, think i might just go ahead with the sierra and if i cant drift it or shes blow up on me on the first corner just forget about it until i get a better car, its only abit of craic
a rotten 1.6 siera will cost about what....200 quid MAX? buy it, weld it, 50 psi and wet ground and away you go!
