    Default emissions nct?

    had a starlet in for nct the other day & it failed on emissions... i have a stanard cat & mani, with a hks exhaust system, any ideas? also used a fuel treatment like diptane.... any idea's.?

    cat back system wouldnt cause it wud it?

    change lamda sensor maybe?

    ye that was first on my list mate, pricey pain in the arse all the same (we when add with wath else i need)

    the SUBZERO weather wouldnt effect the emissions in anyway would it?

    it cud b a fukd cat 2! hard ta kno rele but id say lamda sensor is ur best bet

    Put up the reading's to give us an idea?? could be load's of different thing's causing it, no point really in just guessing and firing parts at it

    low idle : CO 0.06 vol% / above 50% fail

    (770rpm) HC 6 ppm / above o ppm

    high idle : lambda 1.00 / not between 0.97 & 1.03

    (2,920 rpm) CO 0.47% / above 30%

    HC 39 ppm / 200 ppm


    here it is as i read it...!
