    Default Power fc pin out/ using a 96 model in a 95 180sx

Ok here s my problem I re shelled the 180 from my 96 shell to a 95 in the 95 the loom is slightly different I tried my old power fc in it started running all that the idle was jumping from 1000 to 2000 i then tried my mates power fc for 95 model runs perfect with that. So my question is has anyone done this before as far as I no I only need to re pin a few wire s on the power fc to get it to run right. I can just swap PFC s wit my mate as he s no need for his anymore but I just don't wanna have to then get it mapped an all unless I really have to
    My PFC is 202 1996
    His is 2015 1995

To be honest I was half way through it an noticed they were different I taut they were the same model turns out mine was a late 96 when it changed slightly early 96 is the same loom . I can use the other power fc so no big deal Just handier if I can use my own so I don't have to re map.

Is the new shell originally a kouki and the 95 one not?if so there is a possibilty you damaged the coilpacks well one of them you might be lucky. I have the pin out changes on my laptop but I won't be home for at least a week

Well it seems to be running grand I only ran it with the other ecu for less than a minute now I havint drivin it or anything it's still on stands there. Why would it damage it by the way? As far as Im aware the wiring isn't much different just 4 or 5 changes any more info appreciated

I don't think either of them are kouki unless mine is can u tell from the chassis plate cause there's nothing standard left on the car at this stage

Im using a kouki power fc in my 95 180 with a redtop engine, unfortunaly we didnt have a directions sheet when we did it!
We printed out both the j4 and the e5 pin outs.. my buddy changed the pin outs in the harness exactly the same way as that sheet says to and my car is idling perfect.
Im waiting for a sensor for my engine before i can rev it or map it but it seems perfect in my car anyway.
