Default No heater in my S14

have absolutely no heating in me S14, freezing cold air blowing out of the vents, is it the heater matrix, the awkward take out the dash job? or can it be resolved any other way? or could it be anything else?

In my s14a the heater stopped working for no reason same as your problem blew cold air, i fixed my problem now its going to be hard to explain easier just show how it done but i'll give it a go, When you turn the temp up an electric motor moves a small arm i'd say to open a hot air valve (this bar is under the dash just to the left of the clutch pedal), well mine was getting jammed so i turned up the temp and the motor started moving the bar, i pushed hard in the bar when it jammed and there was a bit of a click and the motor moved it the rest of the way and i had hot air again!! You will konw by listening to it if it jammed you will hear the motor going forward and back constantly turn up the heat with the engine off so you can hear the motor moving,

cool so just moving it the once till it clicked fixed it? cool ill give that a try and do any panels have to come off to get to the bar

would a coolant flush and new coolant be advisable anyway?

Keli's was the same Ross, it's the little control box that moves that arm that Bobby was on about in her car too. Definitely do a coolant flush and put plenty of anti freeze in her for this weather.

Yes it was jammed and when it clicked it didn't jam since but yours may not click it might free up without clicking so dont go forcing it till it click's, no panel's have to come off just stick your head down at the pedal's you'll see the bar im on aboout..
