    Default Boost up!

    Have a 180 here, running standard boost.

    Spec;
    Shitty FMIC
    Cat-back
    HKS Air filter (mushroom)
    Turbo is a t25... (hybrid... somehow...)

    What do I do?

    I was thinking;
    De-cat...
    Downpipe...

    How do I turn up the boost? Am i correct in saying I can either buy a manual bleed valve, or else buy an electronic boost controller?...

    If so, Apexi AVCR is what I would get. I think an extra 50 quid over a Blitz one is worth it.

    Can someone explain to me what I would have to do if I bought an AVCR?
    Would I need someone to set it up for me?
    And would I need any other supporting mods?...

    A z32 wouldnt be a bad idea.. but Ive no money.

    Thanks!
    Thomas.

    If it where a manual one... I could just plumb it in. Or if it was an electronic one, id have to wire it up and plumb in the pipes.. correct?

    some people are against bleed valves
    personally I don't mind them if there decent
    avcr is a good choice.
    As for the z32 the car wouldn't run right with it unless you
    get it mapped and have an aftermarket ecu

    I need a fuel pump, high up in the rev's there the car was dead... Handy enough job is it?...

    The way I see it is, My tacho on the car isnt working, and I have a cheap boost guage, so if I buy an AVCR, it will solve both them problems anyways.. so its all a plus...

    Get a manual boost controller, not a bleed valve. Get one on ebay for bout 25euro delivered, ball and spring job. I got one as a temporary solution and it holds solid all the way to the red line, very happy. Just requires afew runs to get it set correctly, simples.

    Driftworks. Manual Boost control valve. 35 pounds. Do well.
