I'd run one from the bottom of the main hoop to the bottom of the front legs... Running along the inner sill like...and then from the bottom of the front legs to the tunnel, butting it against the tunnel with a nice big plate to spread the load..

But sure i have x bar in my doors no need for another bar along the bottom i would be protected in a smack and i dont get ya on the front legs to rhe tunnel do you mean it'd go under your feet...!

IMO you do need it, it'll make the floor sill and cage all on unit.. Now thats RIGID

Yea, under your feet, look around for pics its been done loads, not just something i dreamt up

You could be right tidy bout it, slice the tube down the middle so its a semi circle, run it along the floor like i said and tack it to the floor too..

I know exactly what your saying alright and your right but imo the way i have the bars coming from the strut at the front i have them angled with each other all the way trough so any flex would only be between the mounting points wich will be basically nothing....! What your on about is not wrong its right....! Its just another way of doing it...! We'l beg to differ Mr Famous....!

Just a question, how small are you?? I know it's a different car but just for example when I'm sitting in the S15 the right distance from the steering wheel and pedals my head is just below the main loop which means my seat is 3-4" behind my head.

Are you going to be able to get a seat in and drive With that X you welded into the cage without being cramped?
Just looks a bit tight in the pics!

Offs say you boys only love talking about me....! When your gee eyed after working a 14 hour day on your weekend off ya do tend to make the odd mistake....! Maybe your lines crooked......! lol
