Plus, a little more information would help you get a proper answer.

If your car is spluttering around 4000rpm but then picks up again a few hundred revs higher it sounds like your coil packs are on their way to the grave yard.
Try borrow a few and swap out your own to see if that solves your problem.

Sounds like the same engine you gave me 400 euro for man.

it was but i done you good and proper and i now have all the paper work to prove the engine was rebuilt,with cost off over 2000 euro.....so i think 900 is cheap??????it makes no odds what someone gave for something its what its worth.....2000k rebuild....for 900 euro =cheap.......its not for sale anymore anyway so makes no odds!!
