fuel pump?

alright lads

just wondering there can anyone give me advice,

sometimes if i put the foot down fast the response isnt instant and it kinda jerks before there is a reaction.its like the power is intermitant.it doesnt happen often but too often for my liking.

i first thought it was something in the drive but would it be the fuel pump?

its a gsr lancer by the way

Could be, does it make a difference how much juice is in it? Standard fuel pump?

havnt really noticed to be honest.
its a standard pump but prob going to upgrade anyway.
somebody else with the same car said it used happen his and change of plugs helped,or even the leads

could be the plugs or the leads, get yourself a new fuel filter, they are around 12 euro, i had the same problem with mt levin and i changed the fuel filter and she was grand then

ya il get a few bits and pieces now next wk;leads plugs fuel filter etc and hopefully...
