Right lads here go's....! Wasn't gonna bother putting up a buid thread but i said i would because i think any good build thread puts good input into the site......!
Bascially i had a disaster of a start to my first prodrift season....! I went to Fermoy and blew my clutch out of it on the first lap...! Replaced that and went to punchestown and blew me engine....! Was seriously starting to loose faith at that stage.....!
But chin up I decided instead of banging in another engine and knowing my luck it would blow up putting it in.....! I decided to basically forget about the rest of the season and build a full new car for next year......!
Above all i want to try and make this car as reliable as i possiably can....! The main thing im focasing on at the min is the body...! The cars nearly fully seam welded and is already caged from before but there will be a lot of additional bars going in to brace the frame....!
My main ain will be the handling of this car which in my eyes is by far the most important factor of a drift car but don't worry it will have bags of power also....!
Not gonna put up a full spec of what im doing as you will see as i go along because i change me mind ever 2 seconds....!
So to cut the bullshit lads the car basically went from this....!
To this...!
Tubbed the absouloute shit out of my arches as i plan on running forklift lock but still unsre about what size wheels il be running...!
Still yet to be finished off...! Another bit of cutting and welding to be done...!
As you can seen from underneath theres plenty of room for clearance...!
Picked up this fuel cell during the week and went to fit it...! I wanted to keep the tank as low to the ground as possiable so it ment a bit of chopping.....!

Started making brackets for the tank...!
Got it all fitting and in went the tank...!
Will have to get sheeting the floor back in and im gonna have to do something about a firewall.....!
Car will be going back up on the spit over the weekend so hopefully il have more pics next week....!
