Default Vote for AVO or GAZ coilovers?

As above, im putting rear coilovers in my ae86 and I dont know
which to get. Both are exactly the same money.

The car wont be doing much drifting or anything just road use really.

leave any experience you've had and your vote for AVO or GAZ !

yeah but how much are HSD going to cost?
Have TRD's in the front but I need to sort the rear out...

Cant get many coilovers without buying a whole set or spending
huge money, i've already spent enough on the car..

Well AVO's are the exact same thing as MCNSPORT'S as far as I know
(please correct me if I'm wrong darren)

I can get AVO's to my door (full rear setup) for
"the dampers are £90.00 each springs £25.00 each
    freight £15.00
all + vat unless you are able to quote a eu tax code with order"

So thats 245pounds +plus Vat so about 315euro
OR buy from MCN for 440euro plus postage of say 10-15euro.

think AVO is far cheaper in my opinion and to be honest I got a full kit and bonnet off MCNsport recently and it was TERRIBLE! The bonnet was 1inch too big and there was pin holes everywhere on the bumpers and skirts. No brackets and things just didn't line up at all.

I spent a fortune extra getting them right for the car (you'll see my build up thread shortly) and I'm sorry I ever bought from them. You also can't ring them, you have to e-mail them which is a pain in the face sometimes.

I heard japanese performance in wicklow do HSD coilovers?
Any idea on price... they probably would be worth it in the end.
Driftworks own HSD and they sell them in England @ 760pounds plus postage.

thats fair enough scamper! I've used TRD before on a levin bzr and on an 86 now aswell but to be honest their too stiff and not as good a quality as people make them out to be (considering their price).

I also have Tein HR's on the ps13 and their good for the track but I adjusted them there the other week when I picked it up from the docks and they were bloody rigid too. (hoping I didnt adjust them right or something)

I've noticed BC and megan racing are good quality for price, but I also read on club4age I think that their all made by the same supplier and the only real difference is the outer casings and colours.

Any megan racing or BC suppliers in Ireland???
