I'm lookin into painting a full car satin black it's just for track days so it likely to get a couple of tips here and there and it would be handy to have it in satin black so ya could do cheap repairs yourself and keep it straight enough.
Can you buy proper satin black now with all paint being water based?
I'm fairly handy with the rattle can with a good prep and heat ya can do a good job but I never used it on a large area.
I've painted bumpers on Ferrari's with rattle can black for very picky customers and had no problems
what they don't know won't hurt right
Anyone ever try this??

yeah we painted a good few bits on alan opels cars with rattle cans and it came out savage! its all in the prep work!

it is indeed, and i have 6 x 500ml cans of Proper Matte Black CAR paint for sale for 50 quid if ur looking, should have plenty to do an average car, there very big cans
