    Default Stretched Tires...

    Where stretches tires???

    I went across to the local tire place and they said they can't do it, so I had to settle for 225s

    I have 8.5Js and wanna fit 205s next time

    Any body???

    anyone with a bead blaster can do it for ya lad..

    225 on and 8.5!? bejaysus.


    where are ya located? gem put a 225/40 onto my 10j no bothers. most tyre places wont do it, especialy if you arrive with the wheels on the car, they just wont be arsed trying

    They went to do it and they had no idea how to get them to fit lol so I suggested brake fluid and a lighter...didn't go down to well lol

    Where would have a bead blaster?

    if you get em to mount the tyre, stretching it can be done yourself at home.
    loads of videos online of how to do it but i used a can of deoderant and a stick with a rag on it to light it. and it worked perfectly.

    See the problem with that is I have no spares so needed them to do them there, might try it next time though

    Alfie must not like ye so because I have had tyres stretched onto rims a couple of times over there now

    iv 185s on a 10 and a 9.5 and 9 and 8.5 no problems you dont realy need a bead blaster but it helps some of the time.

    any place that specialises is wheels and tyres. eastcoast alloys in ardee have a few young guys that are into the dub stuff.1 guy in paticular is extremely helpful,understanding and careful!!!
