Default How do you lower an s14 using coilovers?

May sound like a stupid question, but i have just changed my wheels and want to drop the car more.

My question is do you jack the car up and screw the coilies down and measure distance on either side to match or can it be done sitting on a lift on its wheels or is there too much pressure on the coils to adjust?

I'm a virgin to coilies so just tryin to figure it out before i start.

    Cheers in advance

    Rory

just oil them up after you finish, been told it helps keep the coilover in good nic for the next time you want to lower it
