like a cam bearing cap number 3? someone correct me if im wrong, but there matched to the heads, ive a load of vaux heads i got for free cos there cam caps were missing. there good for nuthing.

ya this is ture, if the cap is lost the head needs to be changed.

I not mechanically mined at all but its the clamp that bolts to the head securin the cam shaft in place I need....
And Toyota have no listing for this so was hopin someone had a old fucked head

yea, there the cam caps, there matched to the heads cos the cam has to turn in them there machined with the heads to be a perfect circle no two will be the exact same

True and not true, no 2 are the same but you don't need to change the head, just he cam to the one with the retainers your getting.
