    Default fao: people who knows shizz about blocks.

    what would cause these score marks along the inlet side of my bores?

    could be from overheating,detonation maybe something foreign got in there..

    could be any of those, there as no thermostat in it when i got it which led me to beleive it overheated before. theres a rattle in it that alot of people said sounds like very bad detonation, and foreign... well i found half of the turbo thrust washer in the sump so the old turbo must have shat itself on the last owner..

    probably all of the above combined lol iv got a good ca block ere stripped and all if you need it she failed on bottom end trouble

    haha probly is, ive about a million ca's found with bottom ends gone. ive a good crank i just have to find the cheapest!

    ya its prob piston slap but their is a name for the kinda damage but i cnt think of it now, its still fucked doh without the name of itha
