    Default Sound Deadening??

    Well lads ! just wondering if the sound deadening was taken of my skyline would it make it lighter? and does it act as an insulation??? i took out a bit today where the back seats are but i dont ill bother taken out the rest!

    if ya took it all out it'd make it lighter but nothin ya'd really notice drivin it.

    ^^^ wat robbie said. if your gonna do it, do it properly caus it will totally shite if its done half-heartedly. is does weigh a lil bit alright, but only a human notices lol. a car wont feel the difference and thats what counts. its just for looks imo. i left mine in and painted over it. looks ok, but its a road car too so i wanted to have it as quite as possible lol.

    it doesnt make an awful weight difference, few kilos thats it.
    but if the car is being stripped out and painted it looks better taken out. i spent hours stripping it once

    its a horrible job if u can get ur hands on some liquid nitrogen it makes it easy the colder it is the easier it comes off

    the stuf behind d dash on d firewall also works as an insulator from d heat so be prepaired for the temperature in d car to rise.
