Thats cause your a sissy virgin, now do an engine conversion Ya I'll be moving the engine back through the bulkhead, the work on the shell so far is only to protect the shell from rot.

Cant wait to see it, keep us posted!
600bhp is the base figure, having seen Carpo's build I know what is possible and want to push it to the end, I will be adding NOS on top to have the most power per tonne within my budget.

Thats the plan, if I added 200bhp shot of NOS that would make it 1000bhp per tonne if I hit my goal weight of 800kg's however I haven't a clue what weight I'm gonna end up with...

600hp in an 86 wont be much use to drift as you wont get grip!!!
Alan couldnt run his at 400 and had it turned down due to not being able to lay the power down!

Power to weight is measured on finished article so it'll be weighed on the dock road when its copletely finished. Must source som nice Bride's next...

Was thinking about that however I'm send the front wheels back to Image to increase them from 7.5" to 11" for the rear. I'll answer the power thing in reply to Mick.

I'll be running a Motec and will have two maps on the engine and no better man than Robbie to give me a max power map and a track suitable map, I'm building the car to suit myself fella so as I said its very early days yet, standard engine / turbo should be good for 400bhp but mine will be heavier than Alan's more than likely. Must ask him what weight his came in at actually...

Good call with the rear wheels! Id say the only way to make this car epic is to sit the engine right in beside you in the cabin, get as much weight on the back end as possible. What turbo are you thinking of running? Will lag not be an issue?

Just I'd imagine it'll be very nose heavy and with the lack of weight in an 86 up the back I still doubt even 11j will keep enough contact with the tar!
