i just said at practice it would be BETTER if they had tyres around the barrier..
as the lines were shocking with humps..
    hence why they changed it,
i think its great when people rub the wall..
great for me anyway cause ive sold alot of kits this week already after city west

as this was a new venue and was totally new. it was hard for them to know about the bumps till people tried driving the lines..

1.Yes they do get destroyed with a big bang!
2.When not destroyed and only moved their a pig of a yoke to get back in place.. ie. DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS! Most place's we'r on a tight time schedule and goin over risks loosin the place...

    Full tyre wall:
Fact.. If you clip a tyre wall your waaayyyy more likely to get sucked in then you are if you clip a wall!!!!
Tyre barriers were put up in City West at the most dangerous impact zone so yous still had yer clipping points!

ANd finally the sheet of steel bolted on isnt a bad idea however.... The barriers arent ProDrifts to go drilling holes in, And they cost a lot of money just to rent...
How else would you attach them that would be as strong as bolting them???
Anyhing less than bolting is just too dangerous cas if it was hit hard and decided to take off n oul sheet of steel flying through the air would cut people in 2.... FACT!

Other then that what do you do????

Clipping point 10 foot from the wall????

    Yawn!

Lets face it Pd is approaching things with an Fd type style now as we no more drivers will be heading over at some stage.... May aswell get used to the wall now and give yer selves some chance...
Really agree with this, spot on Dan

I think the barriers are a good idea.

Someone above mentioned Rosegreen - good example - look at all the lads back in the day that wreaked cars against walls down there and no one complained about it. Johnny P put Mark coynes S14 on its roof, and David Quigley thumped the wall pretty hard one day also. Mulvey took the rear quarter off TDP's skyline down there and still continued on - its just part of the sport

The drivers no the risk going into it
