No no, blocking off the dump valve. The compressor blades are pretty brittle.

oh ok! so just to clarify with every! on the first page on my 4 or 5th post its the last video i would like my car to sound like!

Its sounds like its laughing or sniggering haha

I think what you are looking to do is the "Pigeon Mod" where you block off where the dump valve would be and forceing the air back through the turbo afaik

But as said this may shorten the life of your turbo........its like the opposite of anti-lag haha

turbo chatter ha ye finest examples are on group a rally cars weather it be on the ring of kerry or nippin around monty carlo, youll here it constant on approach to corner entry as there keepin on the boost , bovs mainly increase lag time, but as that last lad sed it narrows the life of the blower, first signs of oil n tip damage bearing noises, n so on but sure hey who cares sweet sound less lag love my datsun

yeah lad! that was the plan! going back to the rallying routes was going to try do the group A cars but i like the pigeon sound! haha

Tbh on relativly standard car and turbo it won't shorten the life of the turbo a noticable amount..it's only when your running a turbo that produces massive airflow that you really need to be worried. Go for it,sounds class!

The way the rb20 intercooler set up works means an sr will always make a louder chatter with similar mods. But start off with removing any type of dumpvalve, install a FMIC, and if your bothered , a stainless suction pipe. That will get you a bit of noise!
