    Default 180sx warning light??

    went out 2 the car earleir toady and started it up and the is a light just next 2 the petrol light hard symble to describe but the red light was on and went out again as i drove dwn the road, cme back on and went off again cud any1 tell me wat the light is for tanx

    can you describe it?off hand i think its the cat sensor,have had this problem in a few 180's i had and other cars wear the sensor might become lose or dodgey and due 2 the bounceing/driving on the roads the light flickers from time to time!

    Thats the craic she said with one leg on the dash and nothing on but the radio............

    du u mean now the oxygen sensor wen u say cat sensor, ya actualy as u say cat it looks lke an exhaust symbol

    99.9% the light thats comin on is the cat sensor...jus too lazy to go out to the sil to check the lights on the dash

    If its like a little exhaust with lines/steam coming off it then its the exhaust gas temp sensor light. It may be faulty, it may also be a sign of severe overfuelling.

    yea the light next to the petrol gauge is the temp sensor light,could be faulty or the earth for the sensor could be loose if its coming on and off
