    Default Prodrift Karting Launch Night

Venue: National Karting Centre, Corbally, Co. Limerick.
    Date: October 28th, 2011.
    Time: 7pm-10pm

From its origins on the streets, to high profile Prodrift events in Mondello Park, drifting has become the fastest growing motorsport in Ireland. Recognising this we are now, in association with the National Karting Centre, proud to announce the latest craze in drift culture; “Prodrift Karting”. Over the past 2 months we have been testing this craze and are finally ready to unleash it on the public.

On the 28th of October, we will be launching this exciting new venture at the NKC in Limerick with a night featuring some of Ireland’s most well known drifting stars. Prodrift champions past and present will take to the track, displaying their supreme drifting skills (or not!) whilst pushing these karts to their limits. Former Prodrift Irl champions Damien Mulvey, Darren ‘D-Mac’ McNamara, James Deane, Mike Deane and Alan Sinnott will all be invited to showcase their talents at the launch night.

The launch will also feature the Prodrift Academy fleet, the Prodrift Babes, the Monster Energy crew, Live Dj action, Trade-Stands, Websites, Prize giveaways, Food vendors and lots more. Track time on the night is pre-book only, so make sure to come on down, witness the madness, and book in to be part of the Prodrift Karting experience.

Prodrift Karting is YOUR first step on the ladder into the crazy world of drifting, so make sure to come on down to the launch night, meet the biggest names in Irish drifting, and get involved.

Graham McNamara, Prodrift MD stated that; “We are forever looking for new avenues to introduce people to the sport of drifting and we feel we are onto something special with our Prodrift Karting venture. The guys at the National Karting Centre have been brilliant to work alongside and we would like to thank them for making this venture possible.”

Gerard Costel of NKC added “We at the National Kart Centre are very excited about teaming up with Prodrift to introduce drift karting to Ireland. We pride ourselves on having Ireland's premier go kart track so to be teaming up with Prodrift europe's premier drift organisation is exciting to say the least. The event that will be held here on Friday the 28th of October is the first of its kind in Europe and we are very privileged to be part of it. We would also like to thank Graham and the Prodrift team for choosing to work with us here at the National Kart Centre.”
