i had 2 s14a years ago when they were a rare sight on our roads, one was 250bhp i had for a year and the other was 300bhp i had for 2 months and il be honest man it was a lovely cruiser, comfortable and powerfull and i liked it but theres just nothing like being full of the rack on the limiter in a cam, the buzz ya get out of it is savage
hard to beat to a cam for a bit crack, not as much power as the silvia's but still deadly fun to drive. manys a nights crack up tight back roads.

In Intial D Takumis 86 blows its 16v and a trd race 20v that revs to 11k ish replaces it. Yes its possible Joe, and plenty do in Japan in the N2 class races for example, but you'd be looking at quite a bit of work.
Katsuhiro Ueo won D1 Japan in a 16v N/A 86 a few years back. It is possible, but you have to be a hero spec driver, and with the way drifting and drift tracks have gone its becoming all about big power in competitions so I cant see that happening again.
A real pity imo as I enjoy watching a guy not being able to take his foot from his headlight for fear of loosing the drift, or needing the perfect fast entry to be able to link a section, alot more than some 800bhp, spin in 4th at 2k revs, sort of car. Underdogs ftw!![]()
