im working at 2 1jz's one with a hx35 an another with h1e.they have very big exhaust housings an neither of them cums on boost to 4200 rpm, very hard to get info on.would need a smaller ex housings,i think the hx35 came of a big bhp sr an it couldnt spool it up.

The hx30 will do 400bhp no problem and will spool very fast between gearchanges,I would expect full boost in the 3500rpm area so a good useable rev range there as boost will start building below that level.for direct fitment you will require a t3 flange adaptor for your existing manifold or a t3 flange manifold.I'm guessing you want internal wastegate?this makes fitment easier but if not you will require a t3 flange external gate manifold.the hx30 would be ideal for your situation
    Thanks

All i want is between 400-450bhp and ive been told the hx30 will do it
he forgets to mention that none of this has been proven about the hx30s power and that you will have to get custom flanges made up for the exhaust and the outlet side of the turbo to the intercooler (talk to colm about getting some made up).greg also doesn't know what the correct operating pressure for the oil feed to the turbo is.
