I was in the very first D1irl round It was in 2003 - 5 rounds from what i can remember, all in Rosegreen. First round was won by Dmac in an RX7 (matt black with graphics - late 80's car if iirc)

I thought Mulvey won the series that year, and after winning the series, TDP sponsored him and built his car for the following year (purple 200sx)

In the 2004 season, it moved away from Rosegreen for the first time. First round was in watergrasshill, then Rosegreen, then Mondello, then rosegreen, and finished in Watergrasshill.

I know someone has above that Mike dean won it in 2004, but i could have sworn that Mulvey won it in 2004 again... could be wrong.

My engine blew half way through the 2004 season and my funds ran out so after 2004 i didn't follow it as much. But at least there is 2 years info for you anyway. :P

Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most

As far as i remember it was:

    Damien Mulvey 2004 & 2005
    Darren MacNamara 2006
    Eric O Sullivan 2007
    James Deane 2008
    Mike Deane 2009

Not 100% sure on 2004, and i dont think there was a champion in 2003 was there?

Just going to copy & paste my reply for you on DW :

I don't think there is any specific website that's going to have that info. The best I can manage is from memory.

Prodrift Series originally started out as D1 Drift Series Ireland back in 2003/4. The series ran for a while under the D1 Drift Series name (in no way affiliated with D1GP) with most events being held at Rosegreen and Watergrasshill karting tracks and one at Mondello.

In 2006, the Prodrift Series name was adopted. For 2006 & 2007, the series remained an exclusively Irish series with events at Rosegreen, Punchestown, Mondello and Nutts Corner. 2006 also saw the introduction of the Prodrift European Series with the SLAM event at Punchestown.

2008 saw the re-introduction of the Prodrift European Series which hosted rounds in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Finland. The Prodrift Irish Series ran as normal but with the closure of Rosegreen at the end of the 2008 season.

2009 saw the European Series become the Super Series, a championship that would host rounds in Ireland and the UK.

For 2010 the Super Series was scrapped whilst Prodrift concentrate on the Irish series.

    Prodrift Champions :
    2004: Damien Mulvey
    2005: Damien Mulvey
    2006: Darren McNamara
    2007: Eric O'Sullivan
    2008: James Deane
    2009: Mike Deane

Prodrift European / Super Series Champions:
    2006: Martin Ffrench
    2008: James Deane
    2009: Dean Kearney
