skyline drift and track car

i started tis on another site so just gonna copy and paste all the work done so far

spec
brand new hks 25-30 turbo, brand new apexi power fc plug and play,brand new split fire coil packs,hks fuel reg, wide wings, 18"deep dish work equip wheels,wheel spacers,adju front arms and tie rods,tien coil overs, full exaust system,front mount intercooler,hydralic hand brake k sport,full weld in 6 point rool cage new,harness and bucket seat,boost gauge,tow eyes, cut off switch, fire ext fitted,deep dish steering wheel,turbo timer, boost controller,320 bhp proven,very fast car ,two way diff,spare wheels,full uras drift kit,2.5 rb25det engine,



plans for it r a remap to e85 soon so ill have to get bigger injectors will be going for the biggest ones i can fit wit the stanard fuel rail and inlet manifold
also today i went and ordered the full driftworks suspension kit for a 32 to elimate the hicas rear steering front camber arms and this will give me full adjustment of the suspension all round tis will mean ill have to flare the rear arches then or go wit wider rear arches as the wheels will be straight at the back then and the 10j rims i have will be to wide


also on my list of things to do is sort the interior as imo its left very rough looking for tis im gonna strip off all the sound deadening treat any surface rust on the interior from the welded in cage hammerite the floor and spray over the floor white next im gonna get a mad colour undecided yet probably kawaski green or something and spray the cage
also have door cards got for the doors so gonna get these and cut them down to fit around the cage and fit them as the doors look very rough just left bare
also as its a track car its gonna need a good set of tyres so ive just got a seruios good deal on federal 595rsr,s so im gonna be ordering a set of these for the front as soon as money allows might also decide to get a set of back ones as well if i decide im gonna do a lot of track days or time attack


will keep tis updated as the car develops but its gonna be slow as money is tight at the min
all im looking from the car at the min is for it to be a reliable track car and a good starter base to start drifting probably wont do any drift events tis yr but will try to do as many track days as i can afford

small update got all the arms into the car and the brakes sorted so took her for a test spin up in stonies place today car ran savage all day after we sorted earlier problems wit a bottom ball joint
towards the end of the day i started getting braver not got on a small track and spun off and hit the quarter panel not bad damage done thou nothing a sledge cant sort out
also got word tat my rsr,s r nearly here for the front cant wait to get these on and get rid of the non responsive front end of the car
also managed to pick up a stantard front and rear bumper for the car will be spraying these shortly and the car is set for club class in time attack

small update as the interior is horrid looking i think at the min i started to try and sort it all out today so stripping the sound deadening its a slow boring job:mad) gone spray all the panels on the inside and then spry the cage at different colour colours im thinking at the min r silver floor and panels and yellow cage heres a few progress pics i took today

i also got a front and back stantard bumpers and fitted and sprayed them

also out on the track the other day for a track day i noticed my brakes seruiosly sucked so gonna try upgrade the fronts now next either wit a disc and pad upgrade or a 350z brembo upgrade

bit more done now all the inside is sanded down to bare metal wit a grinder and wire brush very slow job but all the sound deadening is gone at last bar some left in the boot tat ill crack on at once it stops raining and a bit under the dash tat ill get at some stage when ive the dash out of it
most of the inside of the car is painted now but ive no pics as battery went dead in the camera heres a two pics of some of the work if the weather is good ill hopefully have finished pics tomorrow evening

right all finished at last just to give it all a good clean and polish now gonna start prepping the body next for spraying now so should have a start on tat soon if the weather improves also gonna make checker plate mats and fit fit them in the passenger and drivers foot well to protect the paint from wear should have new wheels as well so gonna fit them and maybe spray them as well wit sticky tyresbt
