    Default Ae86 - sr20 conversion?......

Whats the craic boys, i was thinkin about rebuildin the engine in the cam, or else puttin an sr20de into.

I was wondering has anyone on here done one before? and if so how much does it all work out at?
Im not a mechanic so id have to give it to someone to do ya know, jus tryin to decide what to do.
Moneys tight enough but if the sr conversion wasnt to dear id hold off and jus save more money for it.

And im thinkin keep it n/a just because its my daily as well so less trouble

One if the lads has an SR20de and it goes really well and sounds nice too. Not sure if it's that good on petrol though.

Cool, i had a non turbo s14 a few years ago and the engine never gave me any trouble at all.
Im thinkin it would be a nice bit of extra power without rapin tires and petrol as much as a turbo.

there very good, cooling is the only thing you have to sort out, you want bigger fans etc

take plenty of abuse but theres no other engine that can take what a 4age can
