    Exclamation b4 engine swap ideas

    rite i've a weird question for ye all..... i've a spotless b4 legacy shell wit no engine anyone any idea's wat i should wit it....sr - rb or summit mad or would it be waste of time..... obviously it would be goin rwd if i was doin summit

    it would be summit different but would it be worth doin??????

    all opinions appreciated lads
    pics to make it easier for ye to know wat i workin wit

    i wouldnt put an sr in it, id imagine that the car mite be a bit heavy for it.

    Get the 2.5L impreza boxer engine and remove the front drive shafts and bloxk off the transfer box.

    Or you could put a 1jz into it??

    At least with a jz swap the turbo would be on the right side for the original exhaust.

    how much would i pay for 2.5 impreza or a standard 2.0 b4 twin turbo engine

    theres a good few sr20 imprezas in england, suposed to be a very easy swap

    I know a lad sellin a b4 engine, ill find out wat he wants but a jz engine would b better. boxer engine's suffer from oil starvation cos of d layout of d engine

    No matter what way you go make sure you are sure you want to build an amazing car because I dont see there being a cheap and easy way of doing either Japanese conversions! And if you decide to convert 4wd to 2wd be prepared for a lot of maintanence issues, they go through shafts etc. like no tomorrow, check the project threads online to get an idea. I'd love to see it done but realistically go tried and tested methods for a slider :-)
