those chassis and shells are a package that u get the shell u want, the colour u want and the rims you want . the package is ready to go and ready to drift. and i think the have a price drop aswell i think! the guys at D*G will do replicas of your cars aswell and you cant go rong!

yes yokomo are very good chassis BUT they break ALL the time! and thats a fact! with a yokomo chassis you have to keep tuning it all of the time and there not realible at all!

dont think the D*G chassis are yokomo but there a good chassis! rob from D*G won the first round this year with a D*G chassis! so its proving itself already!

also yeah RC Mart is not a bad shop eithier! but genki is way better
Firstly i am going to start by saying that i have no issues nor past experience with D*G so i cannot comment about them. All i can say is fair play to anyone that helps keeps an interest in R/C models going and spreading this interest in Ireland.

I'm sorry but yes i can comment very much so! Have you actually bought a Yokomo kit???? If you have, which i doubting, you will very quickly notice when you open the box, that the sell is not pre painted nor pre built. As for wheels, the yokomo kit actually includes a big sheet with all the different wheels styles they offer and so on.

Well there is a big reasons why you or other people find that the yokomo chassis breaks more easily than other models/chassis'. This is down to the material used for the chassis and many other molded parts in the yokomo chassis' construction. Unlike companies such as HPI, Traxxas, and Tamiya which use more flexible plastics, Yokomo use alot of graphite and carbon in there plastic composites, the inclusion of which makes the parts very stiff and light, a slight downside to this is an increase in brittleness and a more expensive price.

This isn't too big a problem except for people who cant drive a clean lap and spend most time shouting at turn marshals, If they spent a little less time crashing then their cars would spend a lot less time breaking!!!!

Now what do you mean by tuning? If you have ever been involved in any form of racing you should know that tuning is all part and parcel of it, and is necessary in order to be competitive, sorry to be the bearer of this bad news

Also if the cars are so unreliable how is it that Misami Hirosaka has won many of his world titles driving a yokomo chassis????

Congrats to Rob from D*G for doing so well.....i'm sure he is a very good driver in that case

Why do you say that? IMO you couldn't ask for a better chassis to have. It is extremely tunable and doesn't require a single part to be changed from standard form to be competitive. In fact it drives me crazy seeing cheque book racers with every option part available stuck onto a car along with all the 3Racing parts they could get there hands on because they think it will make them the fastest at the track

Yokomos are decent chassis' alright . The only down-side is that they've really hiked the prices up parts and they charge because everything is 'drift' spec . Still though , I've been happy with all of my ones !

Yeah there a good chassis but how many times now has colins or daryls cars broke stuff without crashing them... As u will see my other post above this 1 says that I'm not giving you stick just saying that alot more work and passion goes into the dori garage cars dan a full kit that comes in a box. And yes hachi I will say that I appreciate your info on the yokomo chassis. On the word tuning i no what you mean that's the fun of it but I have to I runa tt01 and I'm as competitive ad the rest of the lads without the hassel sumtimes
