  1. #1

    Default x90 build..

    Yo

I said id throw up a project thread on my car.

Its a 1993 JZX90 MarkII, I have it nearly 2 years now and decided to build it into a full on competition car after doing a few practice days

Here's a few pics of just after I got it and had it resprayed:

So anyway it didnt stay all that clean for long as i went and did some skidzz like this \/ \/ \/

I started to pick up a few bits for it, but being a rare enough car it turned out to be a proper pain in the ass sourcing parts! Dave in jap performance sorted me out with pretty much everything ive got for the car so far.. Mucho gracias dude

Heres how the car looks now after a few tweeks have been done...

Thats it so far but still have a few bits to go on like these..

Hopefully all the bits will be getting fitted in the next few weeks

spec of the car to date is:

Greddy intercooler + hard pipe kit
    HKS super suction racing filter
    sard exhaust
    de-cat
    cusco strut
    HSD coilovers
    kazama tie rod ends
    D-max pillow ball mounts
    KTS 6point cage (for sale)
KTS rear adj arm kit ( not fitted yet )
    JZA80 Supra 4pot calipers
    project Mu grooved discs
    project Mu pads
    recaro seat
driftworks power steering cooler ( not fitted yet )

Thats about it for the moment, a lot of work will be getting done over the next few weeks so il keep updating this

    Cheers

Have you anything planned with regards oil cooler? If not you should if you can afford to...

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

Badical. Looked so good out in punchestown, billowing out the smoke! Handy driver too, would love to see it win some stuff!

Keep the updates coming. It's great to see a JZX build in Ireland.

You defo may get something to get the thing cool, because they run way too hot.

Yeah an oil cooler is on the list, and any other type of cooler i can get as it loves to go to crazy temps!

Anyone any ideas on what a good single turbo set up would be? Obviously the less laggy the better as the standard ct12a's have zero lag !

Good luck on the build...best running a gt30 would make 400/500bhp with
no lag..or else go gt35r running some cams and some headwork and would make around 550/600 mark
