    Default subframe locking collars

anybody fitted some to there car? since gettin the diff sorted shes trampin about abit at the rear. now my bushes are not too bad, but they wont last long at this rate. so thinkin of locking colars as there cheap and easy to fit, but have heard that sometimes they make the bushings wear out quicker? as they cut into them? couldnt be arsed to drop the subframe an fit pollies, anyone have them fitted? cheers guys!

I have them fitted to mine for a long time now, had the axle tramp but the locking collars sorted it. They creak a small bit with the diff but load them up with copper grease and they'll be sound! I'd say yer welded diff would wear out other bushes not the collars. The collars will lock the frame solid to the car so the condition of yer subframe bushes won't matter anymore. Well worth the few pound for them!

    What he said!!!!!!

The way they fit actually means that it lock's the inner bit of the bush to the outside of it!!!! it may eat into the bush but it wont matter!!!!!!

recken i should have left the collors n saved me time n hassle taking out the sub frame!!!!

There perfect for road use the squash the origional bush so it becomes irrelevant, there popular as their easier to fit, once there fitted correctly and the subframe is retightened correctly therell be no issues with them

I fitted a driftworks set about a month ago... Think there the job... stopped quite abit of tramping... However increase noise / vibration a tiny bit too from rear subrame... Not enough to put ya off tho... There well worth the moneys
