Default For those considering the KD Racing Drift event, Portugal...

**Info and pics now on page 2**

Im in the process of pricing the boat and trip for a truck to take the cars across.
I need DEFINATE rough numbers of cars and those interested in using the transporter instead of trailering them individually.

I have access to both a 6car & a 8/9 car transporter and both if necessary but i need to price boats etc so i can get an estimate price per car.

I will also be trying to arrange a coach/minbus for us all to teavel in, on the same dates as the truck because i know some people wanted to travel with the cars.

Last years average price per car was Sterling£700 - £1100 including boat and fuel for tow vehicle only
Im hoping the price will obviously work out a lot cheaper to make it viable for us to do it this way and save some money.

On the coach end of things, interest depending there is the likely hood of space for family/friends/spectators wanting to make the trip also

There are 4places already secured for the truck from UK based cars

The event itself is on the 9th & 10th of October in Lousada, Portugal.

The ferry from the UK to Santander leaves on the 6th and returns to the UK on the 12th... Then the additional time to get to and from Ireland also.

The price will be split equally between everyone so drivers from Ireland hopefully wont have to pay any extra compared to the drivers in the UK.

Let me also add that there are 2 classes, Amateur & Pro.

The trip comes with free food, drink and accommodation for 2nights.
The event was the best ive ever been to, we were all treated like celebrities!
There's full shuttle buses between track and hotel for us.
Along with free airport pick up and transfers for relations not wanting to do the road trip.

The only money you will spend (apart from running your car if competing) is for alcohol if u want some during the day at the track!
Food and meals are provided during the day at the track also for us.

Last year one hotel gave a full open free bar too lol

My aim is to try get the cars transported for around Stg£500 each, if i could manage that its a bargain, especially from Ireland!!
At the minute it may work out at €100/150 a head for the coach but again im working on this as the biggest killer seems to be the ferry prices

Ive gotten one price so far for the coach and its working out at just under Stg£3k for 30people which includes cabins on the ferry. This is not including fuel and if we need to hire a coach!

If anyone knows any coach companies who be willing to do us a deal, please let me know

Damn right, last year i treated it as a bit of a holl, i got my bro and his girlfriend to do the same, they chipped in on fuel and ferry, in the end the hole trip cost me less than £1000 (not including the crash damage or tyres lol)
Thats a cheap good holl if what you love doing is getting wankerd in the sun, drifting in the sun, getting masive attention, road trips, mountain street course did i mention getting wankerd too?
