Sensor from Cat into car? R32 Skyline

Well lads! took off the standard exhaust off the skyline today for a new stainless system that will be fabricated!

theres a braided line going from the cat into the car under the passenger seat and it plugs into something! so heres the Questions:

1: is it a emission sensor or lamba sensor??

2: what ever it is will it hav to go into the other exhaust pipe????

soounds just like the sensor that tells you you have a hot cat. i cut the one goin into my gsr lancer when i fitted the decat and it just shows a hot cat sign on the dash....
