    Default Damp drivers footwell??

    Hey,

Has anyone else come across this? I wear long jeans that soak up every poxy drop of water when it rains so I had assumed that was it but no, the drivers footwell in the Silvia seems to be gathering water whenever it rains. Not really really bad, but its not a good thing obviously.

I had a look around this evening and I cant see anything, ill try pull up the carpet tomorrow but there seems like a lul in the floor where your right heel would sit when your using the loud pedal... I have checked to see if there were any leaks like at the windscreen etc but nothing

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

mate of mine had this in his r32, was coming in from the bottom of the windscreen down the firewall and into the footwell, he ended up stripping out the whole interior to find it.

    Could be the side window.

With the pillarless doors sometimes the window pushes out from the rubber seal in the corner where the wing mirror is it could be ripped.

If it is when you put up the window it will go to far and push the window away from the window seal.

    Sometimes happens in the 180

    Hopes this helps

Thanks for the ideas, bnollie, the drivers door was replaced before it was shipped so unless that has something to do with it maybe not sealing or something or not sitting right...

One other point to note also (should have mentioned it earlier) was when herself arrived home it was damp, but it wasnt raining, just the roads were wet, but i suppose it was raining earlier so it could have happened then. It's not flooded or anything, I took out the map and its litterally two patches around where your heel would be

hmmm ok ill have a look.

Actually I had a look under when it was parked and one thing i noticed was the water comming from what I assume is the drain off for the air-con was a decent amount, the drain was over on the passenger side of the bulkhead, just above the rack i think. So could that be connected??

I really should have put all the information in the first post, sorry!!
