    Default Looking for an FD

    Hi folks,

Now I'm arrived here, I am looking for a car. I've been interested in an FD for years, so I think now why not go for one, since here they are not as expensive as in France...

I already had an 86, an S13, an S14... But I am a bit afraid of the rotary, I don't even know how it works if I need to repair it. Are there some rotaries specialist in Ireland like there are in UK ? (reworks for example)

I've been browing the forum but I don't see many of you drifting FD's or FC's... What would you recommend ?

Eddie Doyle from bray Co. Wicklow is the man for these in ireland,
specialises and deals in them, I don't have a number for him but somebody here should...
Good luck! I always wanted one myself

to me thats enough of a reason not to buy one untill you understand them as they are not as easy to work on as pistons#

there are a few lads over here alright highly recommended to work on them but i dont know if its down to the lack of rotaries or they are just that good at working on them.

Well, I understand how a rotary works, but having never open one, I don't really know exactly what it's all about... Same for a piston engine, as long as you don't have broken one, you don't really know how it works

    I'll check out irish rotary

    2tonne, thanks
