They need somethin though, its one thing when the pro's have a smack cuz the powers that be will just peel off a cheque and have them in a new car in no time, but unless you have a bit of money behind ya one mistake can have ya out for the year....

maybe something like they do at bike rallies would help by lines of square bales of hay along walls and barriers

i agree with ya 100% just trying to look at both sides of the coin rather than just say its the answer.
Maybe have the steel/concrete barriers a few feet back from the wall and use the red/white plastic barriers the had as a clipping point in cork to outlay the track

but all they need to do is put some kind of covering on them even bin liners would stop the wet getting at them like there was easily 20 grand worth of damage done in city west alone and if prodrift dont do something about it soon they are going to lose drivers!! im 16 and the only thing keeping this going for me is my job which i only have part time and im running out of money FAST and i say there are alot of other drivers like myself who are struggling to keep it up so when you damage your car it makes it very very difficult

u know very little bout drifting dude... the "powers that be" dont exist and no one will write a cheque for any of the pro drivers... theres a few sponsors granted but not one person in this country has a fully sponsored drive, everything comes from our own pocket!!

As for the wall... its the only way to have it, it push's people to the limit, if there was no consequences it wouldnt mean near as much when someone rubs the wall... it makes it interesting!!!

the above remark pisses me off to no end!!!! im in the pro class and when i do damage no one pays for it but me!!! i had a serious smack dwn in fermoy at rd1 and you didn't see me cryin about it!!! yes its a real bitch when it happens but this is what puts the irish ahead of the game big time there is no room whet so ever for mistakes!!!! if ur not willin to take risks with the car then there is no point in even taking it off the trailer!!!
