Im not wanting to get a bitchfest started, but personally speaking, Danny Eyles is by far stuck up his own hole! The lad can drive & continues to improve everytime I see him on track, & fair play to him!
Did any of you actually talk to him or have a conversation to make this asumption of him?
I just think its unfair as its by far a true statement....
I didnt see what happened in his practise, but didnt he blow his gearbox on the following lap? Which maybe suggested he had noticed something not right? That or he was playing tactics with Dean... There was/is definately nothin sinister about Danny's character I have to say.
Spent the first half of the year tryin to figure its problems, Citywest was only my 2nd time out in it going proper, finally back to enjoying the sport and having fun, instead of wanting to burn it!!
Just cant believe i was stop of entry speeds tbh, only one matched me on sunday was Dean K. Apart from Healy obviously who did a 103/107kph at one point on sat in practise.
Room for improvement at the next one
Thanks
I forgot actually, after reading this last post... I did have one issue with the event.
Who was marketing it?? There was NOTHING around the area to publicise the event at all, apart from the one poster on the N7 at the turn off for Citywest, and even that wasnt that noticable...
Also noticed ads on radio, but there was so many people in the local area who hadn't a clue what was going on and i believe there was a lot of the crowd lost due to this.
The venue was 110% and surely would/should have attracted a full house, i just believe from what i seen around the area, there was no advertising to promote the event.
Even smaller posters up around the shops in Saggart & the adjoining villages, garages etc. Was shocked to not see anything, especially around Saggart Village!
And also I believe the sign on the N7 only went up a few days before the event??? Should this not have been up a few weeks ago?![]()
