180sx starting problem

Having a problem with my 180sx when it's starting.

Car is sr20det with t28 turbo, 550 injectors, z32 afm and mapped on nistune.

Car won't start from cold unless I try a few small turns of the key and then hold foot to floor, after spluttering a few times it will rev freely and once the engine has run for a minute it will start up first turn of the key.

Checked compression and all were above 140, checked timing and it's perfect. Really stumped, anyone any ideas??

Also having the same problem with my 180 but i have done away with the interior loom so i'm sending 12v to the "start signal" wire on the ecu and still not starting properly so i'm stumped..
