knock from diff

well lads just wondering what could be making this noise. i have it out now and all. its a 2 way i think not sure what make. but when i go to take a turn at slow speeds it knocks. or if i have the front wheel locked and reverse it happens too. it doesnt happen all the time but i just wanna get an idea what it could be. the drives seem fine too i cant see any problems there
any info appreciated or did any 1 have this before?

Could be just a clunky diff...

First off change the oil anyway.. Also if your back end aint in the best of nick (bushes etc) this will only make the clunking worse as your wheels will be hoppin around so to speak..

i only changed the oil a few weeks ago. the bushes are all good in it. how come it only happens some times and it knocks a few times on rotation when taking off. like it would knock 5 or 6 times. i taught it would only knock once like. i not really too well up on diffs

sounds like a good diff knockin is to be expected wit 2ways an welded diff specially wen turnin an reversin at slow speed...jus change to good oil mite help quiten it a bit
