Default how big will drifting get here??

was just pondering over the taught and thinking to myself if the couple of tracks mentioned on here were to open for the likes of drift days coupled with drift jam, mondello drift days and then prodrift on top of that will it be a case of every small town in the country having a few people interested in the scene wouldnt it be great to see more drift cars and lads gettin their hands dirty helping each other out locally even around me iv noticed people getting out of the mindset of "oh id love a 500bhp skyline for the road" and changing to "i want to get some sort of a car for drifting 0 interior, cage, bit of power for some hardcore sideways action"!! Hopefully it keeps growing and gets to a stage where someone asks "wat are ya into " and before ya even try and explain wat drifting is d massive internal sigh stops happening...

I find drifting being the most complicated motorsport to explain to people , if there wasnt youtube we'd be fucked ha.
Its great to see younger people getting interested in the sport cause that generation will be the ones to make it bigger.
People that don't understand it are always giving out about it , cars look shit , bumpers all cracked , is that your road car ? no ! then whats it for ? drifting and track use . sure thats stupid , would ya not get a road car .... Feck off haha .
Would love to see it getting bigger and I think it will but how big I don't know , defo the best motorsport in the country at least if not europe and all .
Joey some people just don't understand ......... Docco haha

id say prob viewer ratings tbh
would be cool if prodrift was on tv tho

i reckon the reason its not growin as much over here as the likes of england an america is jus down to the lack of tracks we have in ireland...if there was more an they were spread out more i reckon the sport could get fairly big cos alot more ppl would be inclined to do practice days if they had tracks close by rather than havin to travel to the other side of the country to use a track

    ^^ True that .

And I meant regular TV coverage . I know there was a few yokes on before , but it's all gone now . Even just a 10-15 minute slot would be cool .
