    Default sr20 rough idle

i started my s14 today for the first time in a while.changed the oil+filter, cleaned air filter and new battery.started it up was ticking over very rough would rev up to over 2k revs and drop very low and nearly cut out and kept going like that took it for a drive and it went grand but when came back and parked and same thing again.was thinking maybe a boost leak or dirty afm.will have a look tomorrow after work what else will i look out for

It could be the fuel, i had the same problem a few months back, i had the car parked for a few months and when i finally started it was running crap......the rev's were up and down, but added fuel and let it idle and went sound after 20mins or so!
No harm to change plugs too!

Pull all the plugs out and give them a good cleaning with a wire brush and some emery.

Get a drop of brake cleaner and spray the AFM in case theres a build-up of any kind on it.

Get her filled with new petrol and possibly an injector cleaner through it...
