    Default Sr20DE SQUAKIN NOISE

I was drivin around today jus normal not fuckin about or anythin and all of a sudden i could here a squek comin from the engine when i was sittin at the lights. So i had a listen and taught it was comin from the pulleys and my mate a mechanic taut it was iswel and said jus lubricate them and it sould go away. So i did tat when the car cooled down. Then turned the car on again and let it idle for a while but when the car heated up again it started again.
But when i listened closer it sounded like it was comin from the air intake manifold

Can anyone help me cause dunno how serious it could be. Cheers

    hmmmmmmmmm

sounds like a small field mouse, one time i had a similar sound but it was a pregnant lizard thing in my intake piping. for weeks it wrecked my head, until one day i hit 1 bar boost and the poor crater got chopped up in the turbo blades. i brought some of my intercooler piping down to the vet and he said it was a bearded dragon and it was more than likle pregnant,

for days me and the lads wondered how it got there. until my friend ronan remembered he left one of his lizards in my shed one evening, the ting must have crawled into my intake pipe when i ad my filter off, i was driving the car for 2 weeks listening to the squeak before i hit 1bar boost. poor ting

i felt so bad for shredding it under 1bar boost, especially since it was pregnant. its hard on my concience, im just advising u to not drive the car incase u kill watever it is thats squeaking, belive me ud feel bad, unless its just one of dem squeaky toys for dogs. . . then its ok i suppose, id chek it out if i were u.

its probably a mouse or could just be one of ur gaskets drawing air.

my car did this when i brought it in first, would run quiet for a while then when it got up close to opperating temperature a strange squaking sound came into iit. i recon thats why i got it so cheap. turned out it was the a/c compressor (air conditioning pump). that was going in the bin anyway, so bargain for me. pop the a/c belt off and see if that sorts it.
