strong smell inside car?

well theres a strong oily rubbery smell on the inside of my car and its startin to anoy me! an airfreshiner wont even drown it out!

wat could it be?

wen i bought the car ur man had two tires thown on the back seat but sure the smell of them wouldnt last a week would it?

smell is always there even if air con is off! car is also decat so that prob adds to smell and im also runnin it on pro boost

most likely smelly old gearbox oil, had that problem before, there was short shifter in d car an few gaps around wher it bolted on, so the smell got into the car, jus got an oul cv boot yoke an sealed it all up sweet...

no more smell...

smell still there lads and nearly unbearable once i have car parked up and come back out to it once door opens ur hit with this rank oily smell!

startin to seriously piss me off and put me off the car!!

i got gearbox oil so hope this helps things

mine was the same lad and it was the gearbox oil
